Is it some paper? Is it some cloth? No! It’s lavash!
Eating lavash is not something that happened “recently”, as I always write in my posts. In fact, I can trace my love of lavash back to the first time my Armenian grandmother came to England. She brought with her two foods that I will never forget in my life: the stringy cheese, chechil and the paper-thin bread, lavash. Both went well in a sandwhich, especially with lots of unsalted butter (to be honest, now I don’t care if it is salted or not, as long as there is lots of it). Now, every time my grandmother asks me what I want her to bring me from Armenia, I say the same thing: “Lavash!”
